Welcome to le Poire, a fine art studio and gallery, established in May, 2003 and located in the heart of Crafton, Pennsylvania 10 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. le Poire is a warm, inviting space that features original drawings, knife paintings in oil and works in encaustic wax by owner, Joyce Werwie Perry. Stop by to peruse or purchase works of art at your leisure. Watch the artist work or witness a demonstration of her own knife technique during one of the many increasingly popular painting classes for adults/teens throughout the week year round.

“As owner and director of le Poire, I am committed to artists and art enthusiasts feeling comfortable sharing in the artistic experience, whether it is through the purchase of art or the desire to nurture the artist within. I invite you to browse and enjoy. Please feel free to contact me by email or phone if I can answer any questions. Be sure to join my mailing list to receive the latest info relating to my work and upcoming events and classes. I look forward to meeting you.” ~Joyce Werwie Perry
