This small pottery vase was made by Jemez Pueblo potter Juanita Yepa store in the 1970s. It is signed (very faintly) on the bottom "J. Yepa Jemez Pue. N.M."
It is 3.25" high and 8" in circumference and is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. See all of our photos.
The Pueblo of Jemez is a federally recognized tribe located in north-central New Mexico, approximately 50 miles northwest of Albuquerque.
Juanita is one of several Yepa potters among the many families known for the pottery in Jemez.
