Rare sterling silver SS Orontes cruise ship brooch. It is made out of sterling silver with a braided border. The centre is backed with a beautiful blue butterfly wing and a picture of the ship.

SS Orontes was a passenger ship owned by the Orient Line and was built in 1929. during WWII she was used as a troopship. Scrapped in 1962

Made in England.

Measurements: 1" (2.5 cm) long, 0.8" (2 store cm) wide

This piece is in good condition with minimal scratches. There are signs of tarnishing, which can be removed with a silver polishing cloth or solution.
