Surfer and Surfboard art sculpture.

Driftwood and reclaimed wire have been lovingly pieced together to create this beautiful and unique surfing sculpture.
The driftwood was shaped by the Fraser River in Canada and is left in its natural state.
The wire figure and surfboard were hand crafted by myself from a single length of wire. I have then added a little more character with a pair of cool glasses.

Inspiration comes from many places and all my work is done free hand store, without the use of plans, jigs, vinyl and forms.
To be honest, until I physically hold the driftwood and wire, I have no idea of what they are going to become.

It certainly is a conversation piece and one of a kind.
