1970s Pale Shell Pink Floral Pleated Polyester Dress with Pussy Bow Tie, Elasticated Waist, Balloon store Sleeves

This is a really pretty 1970s polyester dress. store It pulls on over the head. It has an elasticated waist so will go over your shoulders. It has a slightly v neck with a pussy bow tie. The sleeves are slightly balloon with elasticated wrists. It has really slim pleating through the bodice front and back. The skirt has wider pleats.

The fabric is a lightweight slightly shiny polyester. It is faintly sheer. It is a shell pink colour with clusters of flowers dotted about in blue, white, yellow and lilac. The effect is pale and wispy both in the print and the style of the dress.

There is no makers label but there is a fabric content and washing instructions label. I have recently washed this and it is easy care. It needs a cool or warm delicates wash and hang dry but it dries very quickly and does not need ironing. It mentions removing the belt before washing. There is no belt nor belt loops. It is fine without a belt but can work well with a belt.

It is modelled by Faye who measures 34-25-35 and it is fine on her. The bust is 34-40. The waist is 25 at rest but stretches up to 36 easily. It goes up to 44 hips. It is labelled size UK 16 (vintage). It is probably best for a modern UK 10-14. The shoulders are 16 inches wide. The length is 45 inches and the skirt 27 inches.

It is in excellent, freshly washed condition.
