store Beautiful satsuma teapot from the Meiji period. It was hand painted with traditional Japanese figures, delicate floral designs, and raised gold moriage. It makes a wonderful piece of Asian art for collectors.
Made in Japan in the late 1800s.
Measurements: 6 5/8" (17 cm) long including handle and spout, 4 3/4" (12 cm) wide, 4" (10 cm) tall including lid.
This piece is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are some manufacturer's defects in the form of black dots due to the age of the piece. The gold gilding also shows some light wear. Please check pictures.
