This nature spirit earth elemental kami is without doubt one of the most powerful and sacred beings who has ever come through the clay. I had just started working and was just getting it ready, mixing and softening it: I looked down and he was mostly there already. He told me what I needed to do to help him the rest of the way, and there he was. He radiates a deep, natural magic, total unshakeable calm, and the tranquillity that comes with absolute, true certainty. He can help us to rediscover those qualities within ourselves and to stabilise this crazy world. He can help us reconnect to nature and our own wild selves. He's 4.2cm tall.

He store has been fired once, glazed in greens and an earthy brown (made to his specification!), and then raku fired with natural wood shavings for the amazing effects of smoke and flame.

Through my work, I hope to bring a little nature, peace, and gentleness into the world. I make all of my pieces entirely by hand with only natural materials.
