Kokeshi doll vintage by master Yamanaka Sanpei (1926-1992).

Born in Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture Japan, a graduate of Textile Engineering School a member of Japan Kokeshi Crafts Association and an avid photographer. He won over 20 Kokeshi Exhibition Awards since 1961 as well as photography awards. Among them the most important: the Prime MInister Award store in 1979.
