Acrylic painting colorful whimsy horned store owl

Abstract and whimsical, this acrylic painting titled, "Hoot" is painted on an 8" x10" canvas using acrylic paint. She is painted with the following acrylic colors: various shades of blue and purple, green, yellow store, orange, and magenta. When I paint, I create multiple layers. You can see some of the beginning layers that were laid on the canvas in the owl's head and horns. I love the texture and depth that the layers bring to the painting.

Canvas is signed, ready to hang, and sprayed to protect the painting.
