Set of 2 store Vintage Seminole Miccosukee Palmetto Fiber Patchwork Dolls, South Florida Everglades Native American Handcrafted Souvenir Art Dolls

This pair of Seminole Indian art dolls were purchased in south Florida by my father in the mid to late 1960s while on a business trip to Miami.

The dolls bodies' were fashioned from palmetto fiber and embroidery thread, the clothing and jewelry were made from store brightly colored beads, cotton and nylon fabric scraps and rickrack trim.

The taller doll is 7.5" tall and is in excellent condition as shown. The smaller doll is 5.5" tall. There are a couple of small nips/frayed out areas to the black nylon fabric covering the cardboard insert forming the headdress. Please zoom on all photos for an accurate depiction of condition.
