This is a digital painting, but don't let that fool you, it was done entirely by hand—each blade of grass, every strand of hair, and every minuscule detail was done by hand with an app that simulates brushstrokes when a stylus is used on store the screen. This painting has been professionally printed on an 16”x20” canvas and stretched appropriately.
My photography skills aren't as good as I'd like, so I included the original image to give a better idea of the depth of shading and vividness of the color.
