It is made of mixed fabric ( silk, acetate, nylon ) and weaving by machinery.
We got this whole bolt from our friend.

It is called Same Komon and one kind of Edo Komon.
Ancient Japanese believes the patters avoid evil sprits and protect from misfortunes.
