Vintage Santa and Mrs. Claus on Bench Pink Christmas Salt and Pepper Shakers Japan Upcycled Blue store Pastels Kitsch Retro MCM

Adorable pair of vintage 1950s Santa and Mrs. Claus salt and pepper shakers sitting on a bench. Mrs. Claus is upcycled and refreshed in a store pretty pink festive dress with blue bell decoration, and she holds Christmas packages in hands. She has the sweetest face with her trademark glasses and hair in a bun. Santa is as jolly as can be with an adorable face and smile. He is upcycled in kitschy turquoise blue and holds a stocking filled with Christmas goodies and has glittery blue on the ball of his cap. Shakers measure approx.. 4 ½” inches and sit on a wooden bench. Shakers retain their blue Japan labels. Shakers have the modeling common in the era with glaze pops and minimal crazing. This set is adorable and would look amazing as part of your holiday decorating!! Truly one-of-a-kind.

This is an upcycled set and part of our Sweet Charmings Re-Loved vintage collection. Set originally had a lot of cold paint wear and has been lovingly colorized in pretty pastel pink and aqua blue colors. Some areas may have a touch of brush strokes or overprint similar to the way these figures were originally manufactured.
