Antique Early to store Mid 20th Century Carved English Bread Knife With Stainless Steel Blade & Dark Wood Handle | Bread Cutter or Slicer

A wonderful vintage English nicely carved wooden bread knife, dating from the mid 20th Century.

This treen bread knife, with its carved “BREAD" handle is in nice condition for its age, dating from around the 1940s. The handle has a lovely rich colour to it still, and the carving of the word ‘Bread' is still very clear.

The stainless steel blade is in excellent clean condition and so is very good to use still. It is etched, ‘Bread Knife', in an elaborate font.

In summary, this is an excellent piece of antique treen kitchenalia which will look lovely on display but is also good for ongoing day to day store use.
