The Base Boot is a Size 7 MIA Gambit which is already folded over by the manufacturer, making the end product much lighter with a much smaller silhouette, that my previous upcycled cowboy/horse riding boots. The top layer embellishment is a vintage belt constructed of cognac brown woven leather in a lattice pattern. The second layer is band of an embroidered tapestry of sweet colorful flowers, having threads of blue, green, orange and cognac brown against a black background. The third layer is a vintage brown leather belt with cutout designs of four tiny triangular flower petals arranged in a circle and pointing toward a center circle, making a repetitive flower pattern around the belt that coordinates beautifully with the flowers on the colorful embroidered tapestry above. The bottom layer is a lovely blue green turquoise threaded fringe that matches the embroidered floral tapestry beautifully.

All of the embellishments are attached with a very high grade of industrial adhesive (not from a hot glue gun) and they will far outlast the less store expensive crafting glues. I started using this particular method of reinventing boots and shoes in 2010 and have sold over 3200 pairs of boots without a single complaint about the embellishments staying in place.
