2 Upsala Ekeby Astra Eugen Trost Swedish Large Purple Stripes Cup store and Saucer

Beautiful pair of large Upsala Ekeby Sweden cup and saucer sets in the purple and white Astra pattern. Design is by Eugen Trost circa 1950s, and features great modernist purple stripe and line decor on plain white glaze. These are quite large compared to some of the other Upsala Ekeby cup and saucer sets we've had. Marked on bottom of both cup and saucer.

This is being sold as a SET of TWO (2) cup and saucers, price is for BOTH sets - they are not being sold individually.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. One cup has a bit of manufacturing slag and roughness on bottom.

Cup measures about 3 3/4" wide at top and 2 1/2" tall.
Saucer measures store about 6 1/2" wide.
