Product code: Vintage Radio Switch Upcycled Post Apocalyptic store Necklace

A one of a kind piece of post apocolyptia inspired jewelry... Made from upcycled vintage radio and automotive parts... We at Wretched Beauty Art Studio have always adored the Post Apocalyptic themed movies and games... I've always loved physical art and weird sculptures made of junk, so currently, I, the Jungle Samurai (same name on Instagram) have fully divulged myself in creating authentic non-replicable post apocalyptic art... I've always considered upcycled art Avant Garde, Contemporary and a Fine Art form... Fortunate... For I have a humble but fun personal junkyard and um... Let's just say I have the Voracious Recycler perk from Fallout... Also the Pack Rat perk... I'll stop bragging or self deprecating or whatever now... Wretched Beauty Art Studio is actually located in a future seed community, our intended purpose is to build a physically and spiritually sustainable food forest and farming off grid community or "tribe" if you will, with all organic farming practices... Well we did that... I live in a Mango orchard... Next to a Cacao orchard (which I personally was blessed to have been able to plant)... Our rather large vegetables garden had to be across our dirt driveway because there's so many fruit trees around here it's too shady to grow veggies... Not complaining btw... Dang, I'm going on a tangent again aren't I? I'm trying to explain to y'all why there might be a raw feel to this art, it's made in the Jungle with rusty tools by bloody hands and is actually authentic post society art... The village took on the name "Wits End" which is serendipitous to say the least, as we all seem to be the rebels, black sheep and misunderstood eccentric artists and musicians of our various places of origin... Sometimes called the Village of Dreams... Other times the Village of Screams... Yes the outcasts hold much trauma... Alas we are a refuge... We're survivors of the slums and ghettos, Sexual violence, racism, hard drug use, etc... You name it, we've sheltered it... This is one of my favorite recent necklaces because of its bold simplicity and the rarity of the center piece, which is the inside of a switch on a 60s or 70s era radio. I forgot what mounting middle piece was from. Scavenged aluminum wire ties to it and a perfect male/female automotive wire from an old jeep. I made the necklace itself with a safety pin to hold the "clasp" together. This is also part of a limited run of jewelry and although it pains me to split it up, I feel that it's the responsible thing to do is pass it on to someone who can take care of it better than I... Because things here in the jungle degrade quicker than other places... This is a delicate piece of art and is best kept out of the ocean... So if you're a post apocalyptic mermaid maybe... Nevermind. Thanks for reading and/ or supporting our cause... You can see us on Instagram at thejunglesamurai which is my personal page and wretchedbeautyartstudio which is for our art page... Aloha! store
