1940s US Army store Officer's Garrisson Cap.

Have a chance to own a vintage 1940's piece of U.S. Military memorabilia with this cap. It is a 1940's United states Army Officer's Garrison Cap. This would have been worn with an Army field jacket, over coat or shirt, when the Service Dress Uniform wasn't needed.

There is one tag on the inside, which lists the size as a 7 1/4 and it being made of 100% wool. The inside lining has leather.

I know that it's for an Army Officer due to the gold-colored line piping that is on this. Enlisted personnel didn't have this on their cap's.

This belonged to a Second L.T.N. Uschen, who served in WW2 and the Korean War. He served from 1943 until 1955. Uschen was a 2ND LTN. in WW2 and in the Korean War he was a First LTN. He served in the Army Fiscal Budget Office.
This isn't named but I know that this is Uschen's, as It was in a group of WWII and store Korean Army caps, dress Uniform's, Dog Tags, H.B.T. Field Shirts and books that had T. M. Uschen, or Theodore Uschen on them.
In terms of condition, I would call this very good/excellent. There aren't any holes or tears. Nor are there any stains. Please look closely at my photos for the content and condition, and judge for yourself the condition.
