This is a bracelet I have owned for over 25 years. I bought it with the intentions of wearing it, but with the advent of smart watches, fitbits, etc., I just don't have the space on my wrist.
This bracelet is hand made, hand stamped and is silver. It has an Oriental or Mideastern theme to it, with the hand worked and hand engraved flying fish on the front and sides, and the hand worked edging. Almost looks Persian to me, but I have not been able to identify the country of origin. I have put on close up photos of the hallmarks and the maker's marks.
It weighs 5o grams, and is over an inch wide. The opening on the back is only an inch wide, but this bracelet is stretchy, so I was able to get it on my big wrist, but...it is not super easy to get on. Once it's on it is very comfortable however. Just have to be careful putting it off and on so you don't scratch your wrist. A woman could slide it on over her wrist and either wear it as a loose bracelet, or push it up on your arm.
I've listed the age of this bracelet as early 1900's, but it could be much store older. It's a unique, one of a kind piece.
