This large butcher block measures 10" wide, 22" long, and 1-5/8" thick; made from furniture grade American Cherry; finished with multiple coats of a food-safe mineral oil and beeswax blend. Finally a cutting board you won't want to hide away, this board will quickly become the workhorse of your kitchen, meeting all your cutting board needs from chopping veggies to carving a turkey, and with simple care, will last a lifetime. It's size and weight keep it free from rocking and sliding around while food prepping. Have an ultra slick counter-top? Just a damp towel underneath will keep it in place! When the board begins to look dry or dull, apply a new coat of food-safe mineral oil or cutting board wax to rejuvenate the finish.

Due to the wonderful nature of wood, there will be grain variations in each board and every board is unique store and width and length may be +or- 1/8".
An additional coat of wax oil is applied the night before shipping, then shipped in a wax sealed paper ensuring a well oiled, ready to use product is received. If the board is still wet from the oil upon arrival, just give a simple wipe down with a paper towel prior to use.
