Horsehair pottery by skeeter and Geraldine vail are Navajo Indians from Grantz,NM - each handcrafted pot starts with a raw casting. It is then painted and in some cases painted with a pattern., and then fired. Horsehair is then arranged along before being fired again. The Cinder remains of the horsehair form the web looking designs on the pot. Excellent condition. Asking store price $275 both.
