Vintage bottle opener in the shape of a sweet bird, a swallow perhaps or a sparrow or canary!
This very pretty and unique bottle opener is 24 carat Gold Plated, it still retains its original manufacturer's tag stating that it is gold plated and with the BMFN manufacturer's name. Circa 1960's/70's, this lovely bottle opener is sure to please every vintage barware collector! Or it might become a favored bottle opener for every day use. The sweet design makes it a lovely gift item for women as store well as men. The opener can be used in two ways, the tail is a bottle cap opener and the bottom of the bird as well which is used for twisting bottle caps off. In absolutely beautiful vintage condition with only very very minimal signs of time's effects, it appears to be in unused condition. It measures 3-1/4 inches x 2-1/2 inches and weighs 217 grams on my digital scale.
