A-line skirt made of tapestry and wool/poly mix. Lined skirt.

Machine wash cold or 30º C max, inside out using a mild detergent suitable for wool.
Line dry and iron when necessary.

The front panel of the skirt is made of tapestry. Not all tapestries can be made into skirts straight away, this one had the deer in the far away left corner.
I decided to take it out and use it as an appliqué. I thought that the edge of the lake was a nice place to put it back on.
The tapestry is woven in cotton thread, very soft.

PLEASE NOTE: these tapestries are quite old, some of them over 60 years and some damage may have occurred. Upon arrival, they are left to soak in soapy water and this procedure is repeated several times. Then they are washed in the washing machine.
We repair broken threads carefully on the sewing machine by stitching them through in a matching color. This one has no damage.

The colors are greens and grays with subtle hints of pastels and with warm tones of brown in the deer and the surrounding plants and trees.
I have maintained the straight line of the tapestry in the bottom rim.
The back panel is made of a wool/poly mix of a green-like gray.

Zip in the center back. A thin waistband of gray trim on the inside of store the skirt.
The skirt is lined with gray polyester satin.

The skirt is designed to be worn on the low waist but can be worn higher according to preference.
