Hand knitted, Outlander-inspired cape made of a luscious wool and alpaca blend yarn in a beautiful mustard yellow color. This cape is inspired by the one Claire wore on the Boar Hunt in Season 1, Episode 4. It would be a perfect addition to your cosplay outfit or your fall wardrobe. It looks so nice on and is so soft, I was tempted to keep it myself!
I have been a knitter since age 9 when store my grandmother taught me. I am beyond happy to be able to use my skills to create this wonderful product for you.
I first decided I wanted to open my shop to help the people of Ukraine obviously when seeing the horrors of the war raging there. But it was when I met a woman named Kateryna through a facebook post I made offering our house to refugees from Ukraine that my focus became transformed. She and her family had made it to safety but she still worried greatly for her family's future. She also felt greatly for the Territorial Defense Forces because they were not getting the help they needed. She was giving them as much as she could, even her own money. I started by buying Kateryna's little girls some clothes and shoes, things that are desperately needed right now. Then I started donating widely to Ukrainian charities. Continuing that effort, I included Etsy listings from Ukrainian creators offering their goods digitally. I came across one woman who offered a pattern for a simple heart that could be made into a plush. She said the pattern was available for any use, which was a godsend. I ordered yarn, started knitting away, and the rest is history.
