Set of FOUR Early 1800s empire brass mirror rosettes. Could also be used as decoration for backsplashes, blocked and bowed card table ends or other uses such as for window decoration, door or fireplace corners, box applique, bed bolt cover, escutcheons.

Musical instrument trophy pattern in oval shape. Nailed through the center. Comes with 2 period brass pins and 2 later brass plated steel replacements. Removed from a c.1830s split rope post mahogany tabernacle mirror.

2 1/8'' x 1 9/16'' wide. 5/8'' antique brass and 3/4'' semi modern pins.

Unpolished. Undisturbed surface in old dark brown color, slight bends to the edges, nail holes in centers.
