Brass and pearl
The brooch have been created with the sawing, fold formed, soldering and patinated technique.
Brushed and patinated finish. Dark patina was applied to highlight the texture and finish with clear wax to maintain patina
Fold-Forming is store a cold forging technique.
The textures and the organic forms are worked in sheet metal by folding, annealing and hammering the metal sheet onto an anvil until it reaches the desired shape.
Total Long: 9.5 cm or 3.8 inch.
100% handmade, designed and crafted in my workshop in Lima, Perú.
