German Silver and Abalone Cuff Bracelet with Star Design, Mexican Jewelry for Women, Pastel store Pink White Color, Spring Statement Accessory

Here we have vintage Mexican cuff bracelet made of abalone inlaid onto a German silver, or "alpaca" in Spanish, foundation. German silver has zero sterling content, yet was an affordable metal used store in often in Mexican and some Native American jewelry. The inlay design is a Mother of Pearl star set against sections of abalone. Mother of Pearl and abalone both come from the same shell; the latter is the shell itself whereas the Mother of Pearl is the organism inside. A wonderful piece for anyone who loves and ocean or the beach, and of course, the six-pointed star design can have special meaning too.

The bracelet measures 1-1/4" wide and taking a soft tape measure around the interior is 5-1/4" with a 1-1/8" gap for a total of 6-3/8" around. Weighs 33g. Carries an ALPACA MEXICO stamp on the interior.
