About the Artist:
Pearl Fridel, beloved central Texas artist was born in 1925. She was a career artist in the 40s, 50s and 60s working as a black and white photo colorist for Lloyd's Studio in Waco, TX and and Urbanovsky's Studio in West, TX. In her retirement she became a celebrated oil and china painter. She loved painting flowers and landscapes. Much of her most treasured work was in porcelain art. The unique artform became her passion throughout the 80s and early 90s. She was a member of the Porcelain Art Guild of Waco, TX as well as Community Artists and Students Association of Waco. In an effort to commemorate Pearl and her art, her family has released select pieces from her collection for sale. These pieces, we think, are things of beauty, truly one of a kind (Pearl never painted two alike pieces) and we hope that they will bless you and bring you delight. –Aaron Kubacak, Grandson of Pearl Fridel
