Each fish is hand made by me. I start with a lump of clay then I have fun forming the fish and texturing each one. I use different tools to create textures including shells, stamps and pens. The dots, stripes and wavy lines add character to each one.
This fish has many colors including blue, red, orange, yellow, black and teal.
Each one is made of clay that is fired twice in a kiln to about 1800 degrees.
The fish is attached to a black stand to give it more presence.
This fish measures about 9" tall, 7.5" long and about 3" wide.
