Rich celestial patterns of shades of Deep Purple and Bright White highlight this top cabochon of Morado Purple Opal from Mexico. This gemmy cabochon has deep rich purple, almost, if not, indigo, that makes it a truly stand-out piece. I've cut this stone with a high dome, girdled sides and a slightly beveled flat bottom. Truly a top grade stone which will make a beautiful piece of jewelry!

I cut this cab by hand and it's been highly polished both front and back with slightly rounded bottom edges for easy setting.
Note that all my photos were taken using full spectrum lighting, which does fairly well in replicating natural sunlight. However, almost store all cut stones will look best and brightest in direct sunlight.
