'Twas the night before Christmas...
This cozy Christmas scene is captured here in this elaborately detailed, handcrafted diorama. The scene depicts a peaceful, slumbering cat, cuddled in her bed beside her owner's rocking chair, before the fireplace, its mantle hung with stockings. Atop the mantle sit a cameo picture, a glittering snowglobe, and a vase of poinsettias and small white flowers. Above the fireplace hangs a mirror, framed by a wreath on each side. And, finally, the star of the show (pun intended) is the star-topped Christmas tree, which has been strung with real, working colored twinkle lights (which can be seen lit in the fourth photo) and adorned with ornaments. Beneath the tree are all of the gifts left by Santa, including a brand new bicycle, a teddy bear, and a rocking horse.
