1950's Wilson Baseball Glove - Early Wynn Model - Very rare S series made for the professionals!
This 70 year old baseball glove has been completely restored.
The glove has been thoroughly cleaned and steamed to remove the decades of dirt, glove oils, wear, and play.
The gloves markings, model #, and Early Wynn stamped autograph were worn and barely visible. They have been restored with antique black store oil ink. They are now BOLD, visible, and display nicely against the natural leather.
The old laces were dry, worn, and split. New Natural Tan leather rawhide laces have been woven throughout the glove, adjusted, and tied properly.
The entire glove has been conditioned with Wilson Pro Stock Glove Care. The leather is now soft, conditioned, broken in, and has that "vintage new" look and feel.
The interior leather has aged/slightly wrinkled - but not cracked or split. Feels comfortable on the hand.
One size fits all 1950's style baseball glove that measures 11 inches from wrist to web.
Early Wynn had an incredible 23 year career in MLB. He was one of the games best pitchers, winning 300 games. He pitched for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians, and Chicago White Sox. As one of the best, Early Wynn earned his spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.
