SYNOPSIS

The novel tells the life of two friends who belong to different social groups but who despite this, are very close and show a sincere and committed friendship. On the one hand there is Salih Camoglu, a humble man who has two daughters Melek and Hulya, at the other end we have Bayram Cevher, a millionaire man father of Kerim, the protagonist of this story of love and commitment.
Bayram loved his friend Salih very much and, in order to do him good and regain the friendship, both commit their children in marriage, Kerim and Melek for being Salih's eldest daughter. Everything was planned for the parents, the Camoglu would come out of poverty and ascend to a new social status, the Cevher would do a good deed and everything would remain in family and trust, however, they did not take into account that the young people growing up could have their own plans and dreams.
Hulya and Melek were orphaned by their mother at a very young age, Melek, being the eldest took care of her father and her little sister all her life, therefore, before the commitment to the young Kerim did not present negatives since it was a way to help her family financially, Melek was willing to sacrifice herself for her father and sister.
Both children were raised in different cities but when they reached the age of marriage they were going to meet and make the commitment, however, Kerim had already planned his life, wanted to study at the university and was not interested in marrying an unknown girl, this would be the first problem in history for parents. The second conflict is set up when Hulya, Salih's youngest daughter, meets Kerim and falls madly in love with him. Hulya promises to marry the young man although it must cost him a lot since he knows the previous agreement that his parents had. As time goes by, Kerim makes her routine visits to Melek in order to arrange a date for the marriage but Hulya, who has become a beautiful and cunning woman, puts obstacles in her way so that this union does not happen.
