Phrenology; The study of human characteristics and traits based on the shape of the head and face. Weird.
Check out this cool old original color flip chart from 1906 featuring seven fold-out layers of the human head. 'Phrenology Man' measures 6.25" x 9.25" overall and he's in wonderful solid store condition; very lightly tanned with firm edges and square corners. This AMAZING antique flip-chart was salvaged from a falling pieces of antique holistic medical book filled with a mixture of facts, folk medicine, and general quackery from 1906.
Matted, framed, and displayed as a gallery grouping, these weird and wonderful old anatomical prints are simply spectacular. I'm just fascinated by old medical stuff. Phrenology Man is a most unusual vintage score!
