The story behind the painting:

This piece was painted live during worship at Light City Church, Fort Erie Canada, July 2019. It served as a preliminary design for my painting titled "Spreading the Light Despite the Present Storm" which was featured in the Water for Life International Art Exhibition in Cancun, Mexico, November 2019.

Through simple acts of love and faith like a little child's store, we can bring about positive change that ripples across the globe.
A little girl stands in a flood and the rain continuing to come down, but instead of fear she looks down at a small amount of the water within her hands, and as the water runs through her grasp it becomes a bright thing of beauty.
