One of a kind ceramic handmade woodfired teapot with copper patinated handle. The handle was cut and molded by hands. Patina was prepared according to old Japanese recipes using Rokusho, Niage (Niiro) patinated technology. The patination process takes about 40 hours of digestion of the handle in the patinating solution.
Teapot was made of high-strength porcelain that have been fired about store 100 hours in Anagama kiln at high temperatures (1300° C and above). At this temperature, the ceramic is completely sintered and turns into a monolithic material within of continuous firing. The paintings on this teapot was made by wood ash, during firing in Anagama kiln. Then this teapot was covered by food glaze and had one more firing in electric kiln.

Every part of the surface of this teapot was shaped by fingers to feel pleasant feelings when you hold it in your hand.

The colors are evenly warm, from dominant reddish brown to honey yellow and burnt orange. There are interesting color transitions and spots in the coloring. The surface of the teapot is rough, which is pleasant to hold in the hand and it is a pleasure to touch it from different sides during tea drinking.
