World War I (1914-18) United States Coast Guard Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine United States Navy Coast Guard buttons from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. This pair of cufflinks is made from two gilt buttons. The modern United States Coast Guard was formed in 1915 and transfers at times of war to a branch of the United States Navy. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel. They are made using smaller cuff buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 18 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of First World War American history. The gilt buttons have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 100 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury store wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
