Great gift for the math and geometry lovers! This geometric necklace is a Theodorus spiral. it composed by series of right (angled) triangles. It is begun with an isosceles right triangle, then another right triangle is formed next to it with one leg being the hypotenuse of the prior triangle and so on. Each of the triangles hypotenuses hi gives the square root of the corresponding natural number, with h1= √2 .
In this pendant, as Theodorus, I stopped at the √17 hypotenuse which belongs to the last triangle that does not overlap the figure. You got to stop at some point but don't let it stop you from wearing it.
