“Have nothing in your home that you don't know to be useful or believe to be beautiful” William Morris

Grainger Worcester was one of the leading factories in Worcester in the 19th century - established in the early days of British Bone China production.

The Grainger Worcester Porcelain was established by Thomas Grainger (1783-1839) who was an apprentice at Robert Chamberlain's factory with his partner John Wood.

Outstanding Red Chinoiserie Coffee Can and Saucer - beautiful oriental landscape of Pagoda, Trees, bridges and boat on white ground with gilt trim. The pattern 2/2019 is hand painted on the base

Considering the age, this stunning duo is in excellent antique condition. A very tiny loss of gilt on the rim. Please study the photos carefully.

The dimensions are 5 7/8” wide for the saucer, 21/2” tall and 2 7/8” wide for the coffee can.

This magnificent collection belonged to an expert of 1750 - 1900 British Potteries, which he lovingly collected, catalogued and researched for over 50 + years.
