1966 Blenko store or LE Smith Large Blue Triangle Pressed Glass Ashtray - Pipe / Cigar - Rest / Holder / Stand / Change Dish /Trinket

store Here I have a beautiful chunky thick ashtray. The piece is a large 3 position Blenko 1966 665-A triangle shaped pressed glass ashtray. This thing is a heavy duty piece at over 1.5 pounds in weight and just looks so cool. The blue color really stands out on this one! I stuck couple pipes in here and it seems pretty adaptable to all sizes and makes a very secure pipe stand/holder. Everything looks really good no major flaws, small little bubble blemishes in the glass, but this is common in these (see in the pictures). Enjoy this one as an ashtray or as a cool looking display piece, trinket dish, candy bow or whatever you like.

Update - I was made aware of a potential conflict in this listing by a young lady into ashtrays. She informed that she feels that this a model by L.E. Smith based on Tom Felt's Book on Smith which denotes two Triangle ashtrays #1031 and #1032. In search of this information I found limited (only 1 picture) with the same description but also found other information showing it as a Viking model. Regardless, it must have come from one of these three companies. They are all of similar nature, mid-century colorful pressed glass or blown glass type products. I suggest that if you need to get into it, do the research and see what you can find to determine prominence. Good luck!
