VINTAGE Issued in 1974
c' 1974 Early LLADRO, SPAIN "DUCK SELLER" # 1267 FINE PORCELAIN FIGURINE
features: hand painted, highly glazed porcelain figurine depicting sitting young girl trying to sell her duckling in a basket with the mother duck at her side.
Sculpted by designer Juan Huerta
This figurine bears the Third Lladro Porcelain Mark on the bottom, dates year 1974.
The third Lladro factory mark, used from 1971 – 1974, was the first Lladro use of a blue back-stamp, on the bottom of Lladro figurines, not an impressed mark. The Bellflower, (Tulip), is more intricate than later marks, and the accent mark over the “O” was omitted on purpose.
