Handmade Wood store Box with Carved Duck Head Attached

This is a handmade wood box with a carved duck head attached to the front. The lid is hinged by two brass cabinet hinges in the back. The box sits on a pedestal base which extends There are attached wood handles on either side of the box and one on the front of the lid. Look at the photos and you will see the quality of the workmanship store that went into making this fine box. The joints are very tight and have wood dowel construction. The duck head attached to the front of the box is hand carved. The box is in very good condition showing only a few minor scuffs on the duck head. The box size is fairly generous and could be used for any number of storage uses. We like it just sitting on one of our fireplace mantles. Very nice!
