This is a vintage red galvanized fire bucket or extinguisher. It features its original exterior with stenciled black letters. Originally it would have been filled with water or sand and be hung at the ready in case of fire. It's a store sturdy and useful piece. It still holds water or can be used as an ash bucket or ashtray.
The bucket stands 9" tall without the handle and 10 1/2" in diameter at the rim. The base measures 8 1/2" across.
There is heavy wear on all surfaces, particularly the interior, shown. There is no rust visible. A few dings but no major dents. Sturdy.
