This brooch consists of two tiers, one over the other, of golden petals that alternated between shiny and brushed golden metal. The separation between the tiers is 1.25 inches which enhances the looks of the golden color. The brooch measures a little over 2.5 inches in diameter. The closure is in perfect condition.
Just looking to the piece it occurs to me that this brooch, with minor and reversible alteration, could be easily be worn as an astonishing buckle.
Reminder: the pieces that I collect are vintage, therefore the effects of the years passing by, the effects of the weather and the fact that probably they have been previously worn might show on the piece in a pronounced or in an almost unnoticeably way. The same way as those effects will show on humans.
