Antique Brass & Floral Porcelain Hand Held Mirror and Brush With Forget store Me Knots Ornate Floral Repousse 1890s to 1920s
Porcelain and brass antique hand mirror and brush made sometime in the 1880s to 1920s.
Mirror and brush both have porcelain backs with transferred images of colorful store 4 leaf clovers and flowers consisting of blue forget me knots and lily of the valley.
The porcelain is framed by brass and has roses and leaves in repousse in high relief.
The mirror has a heavy thick beveled mirror, brass screws on the tip of the handles, and the porcelain is domed shape.
The Victorians loved forget me knots so this may be an older set.
Measurements:
Mirror 9 1/4 inches long and 5 3/8 inches across mirror
Hand brush 8 3/8 inches long and 2 1/2 inches across
Condtion: brass has patina (if you do not like patina then it will have to be cleaned), hair brush missing bristles on one side along rim, beveled mirror has black spots in areas and scratches on top of glass, one piece of wire poking out of brass screw on tip of handle at brass screw.
