Sadler Barrel Teapot - Golden Chintz with Victorian Tea Party Scene
This Sadler barrel teapot features a colourful picture design on the front and back of people in period costume having a tea party/garden party. It's also decorated with a golden floral chintz pattern, a bow finial and lots of gold gilding. A lovely addition to a teapot collection or perfect for your next tea party.
Measurements: Approx. 5.5" high, 4" deep and 9.75" from spout to handle.
Identifying Marks: Embossed on bottom "Sadler England".
Condition: Very good vintage condition - no chips or cracks; minimal crazing and some wear to the gold. There is a 'glaze pop' on the golden frame (see closeup in photos).

All merchandise is vintage or antique. Vintage is 20 years or more in age while antiques are 100 years or older. Both have been preowned. I inspect for damage and will state any found in the condition description but vintage and antique items may have minor imperfections from the manufacturing process (such as kiln marks on pottery, shear marks on glass, etc.) which I do not always mention especially when they are minor and do not affect appearance.
