About the artist:

Altanets Valentin (1936-1995)
Born October 24, 1936, in the city of Krivoy Rog.
In 1955-1962 studied at Odessa State store Grekov College.
Since 1962 - the beginning of the exhibition activity, he participated in the first regional exhibition of sketches.
In 1978 in the editorial office of the newspaper "The Banner of Communism" (Odessa) he had his first solo exhibition.

Other personal exhibitions were held in 1979 at the House of Actors (Odessa), in 1983 in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists, in 1989 in Toronto (Canada), in 1997 at the Odessa Art Museum, in 2007 in the exhibition hall of the internal policy department of the Odessa City Council and at the Museum of modern art in Odessa, then in Finland and Germany.
Since 1993, member of the National Union of Artists, a member of the creative team "Choven".
Member of regional, republican, all-union and international exhibitions.
His works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
Died October 27, 1995, in Odessa.
