This colorful, hardcover Children's Book is a near antique, at over 90 years old. It is a First Edition, with the “Scribner's Seal” and the letter A, both shown on the title page. Illustrated with four full-page, full-color plates and a frontispiece. Smaller black and white drawings are littered throughout the story's pages.

The corners are all sharp except for the top right, which is bumped. Black clear text on the front cover and along the spine. The binding is tight and secure. The first blank page has a discolored patch. The interior is clean and free of any markings. It measures approximately 9” tall and contains 123 printed pages. This beloved tale should be on a nearby bookshelf of everyone who still daydreams of flying off past the third star on the left.
