These are Brazilian Watermelon Tourmaline crystal slices. They are also called Multi Color Tourmaline. This is a raw gemstone from Brazil. Some of the edges are rough and show the corrugated crystal faces. Some of the corners have been faceted. These are slices from the rough crystal and each one has interest patterns of colors from crystal formation. These gems weigh 5.91 carats total weight of the two. These are free form shapes. They measure in the 11.1 x 8.2 mm range, that's about .44 x .32 inch. These are cut from rugged tourmaline gemstones. They have naturally formed in the earth and have been mined from the earth. Sometimes this natural formation or mining can leave fractures or chips so they are protected with hardeners. I have hand set them into these solid .925 sterling silver earrings that are marked on the back. The earrings you see in the photos are the earrings you will receive. Photos enlarged to show detail.
