I bought original IPad 3 in 2012, it was wifi+verizon LTE, then in 2016, my son dropped it from stairs and it was fine overall but can't charge anymore. I called the Apple Support that time, paid $300 something got a brand new one from 2016 and got a durable case as well. After that, it's rarely used, so it's like new.
